Its wild to me that growing up we are not taught to self explore, likewise with taxes not being taught in school. Seriously, what gives?!?
I started with some self work in my early 20's, after I moved to another province and felt there was enough distance between my upbringing and myself. And while Im not saying you have to move across the country to do this work, creating distance aka boundaries can give you the space to create & explore who you are & want to be.
Self exploring is the same as exploring in nature; there can be invigorating, mind easing, soul filling paths that you take. But there can also be tumultuous, difficult, and all around unenjoyable paths, and some with a bit of both.
In the end which one brings you the most satisfaction? The most gains? The best mental health? The best physical health?
Both have their own benefits, but its your mindset, personal priorities and willingness to shift that will ultimetely shape your future.
Read the next sentence slowly and with curiosity.
"Cultivate expanded awareness to help break the cycle of reaction within ourself, by creating connection to mind and body so we can Consciously Choose our Choices."
